Introduction

Nextronic is a privately owned company based in the East Midlands, UK. Established primarily an electronic design, manufacturing and service company, we specializing in high integrity audio communication systems for the Fire Industry, and also in robust, high reliability applications in the industrial and commercial sectors.

Within the company we have extensive experience in the design, manufacture, supply and commission, of equipment for high reliability and demanding applications. Equipment has in the past been supplied on projects ranging from; industrial offshore petrochemical, to railways, to large commercial buildings and sports arena.

The company draws on over 40 years of experience in the industry, and has traded for over 24 years in its present form. During this period we have completed a number of significant Voice Alarm systems, as well as consultancy projects for Fire industry related applications.

Design Capabilities

The company has extensive project design experience. Lead by the former Technical Director of Elemec Systems, and later GAI-Tronics Ltd, we have extensive knowledge of Public Address, General Alarm, Voice Evacuation, and serial networking solutions. Our experience covers wide ranging aspects of project design, thus assuring our compliance with, EMC certification, statutory regulations and recommended industry guidelines.

As well as standard equipment, we can offer new design and re-configuration of units from our standard equipment range, to comply with specific project requirements as may be necessary. Also, we can advise or prepare designs for loudspeaker layouts following a review of project drawings, or a site survey.

All project designs are done ‘hand-in-hand’ with the client. Design reviews and verification is made at all necessary stages of: initial design, manufacture, factory testing, and on-site commissioning.

The company designs and manufactures in house, all the PCB assemblies, wiring looms, module and cabinet assemblies. Long established subcontractors are used for metalwork, fascias and hardware. The company has full test and commissioning facilities available in house. As far as possible, the company only uses component parts which can be multi-sourced, and are available from BS EN ISO 9002 approved companies.

Quality Control within the company covers the whole business operation including; design, manufacture, and commissioning. The company operates strictly in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2000.
